Arsenal has formally negotiated with two defenders, Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares, to join the club on a permanent basis.
After winning the FA Cup trophy earlier this month, Mari and Soares initially joined Arsenal on loan in the January transfer window but impressed the Gunners so far.
This was confirmed by Arsenal on Monday in a statement on its official website.
The declaration reads:
“We have reached an agreement with both Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares to join the club on permanent deals.

“Both players joined us initially on loan in January, and after impressing on and off the pitch over the past eight months, all parties have agreed to make their moves permanent.”
Pablo, 26, joined the side of Mikel Arteta from the Flamengo side of Brazil.
Cedric, 28, left Southampton to join Arsenal.
